The purpose of the Mission Beach website is to purposely obtain maximum open public exposure for the tourist destination of Mission Beach and all persons, businesses, organisations and identities listed on this website.

The Mission Beach website does not collect the names, contact details and/or any personal information from any specific visitor to this website without the consent of the said visitor.

• Where a site visitor has freely entered information into the Visitor Book. This information is publicly displayed on this website. The person entering a comment into the Visitor Book can elect not include personal information such as their email address.
  
  
• Where a site visitor has entered information into the "Contact Us" section of this website. This information is transmitted only to Mission Beach website administration and will not be used for any other purpose other than to effect the appropriate processing of the information supplied and to send a reply email.
  
  
• Where a site visitor has entered information into the online form appearing in a listed identities "Webtorial" website. This information is transmitted directly to the respective listed identity and is processed in accordance with their own methods and policies. The Mission Beach website does not have access to nor keeps any information pertaining to information entered into a listed identities own "Webtorial" website.
  
  
• Where a site visitor utilises the "Mission Beach Postcard" feature of this website. Email address details entered into this section allows a message to be sent to the designated recipient informing them a postcard has been created for them. A unique feature of this section is that it will also send an email to the sender to inform when the postcard has been collected by the recipient.
  
  At no time will email addresses be accessible or utilised for any other purpose other than the performing of the "Mission Beach e-Postcard" function. The recipient has five days to view their postcard after which it is deleted from the respective Netports Australia server.
